Delivery Destinations

We deliver all throughout Hong Kong from Monday to Friday 13:00 am to 20:00 pm. Delivery areas are Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories including Tung Chung, Discovery Bay and some of the Outlaying Islands.

Delivery Schedule and Time Slots                                                          

We offer delivery to your home, business or office address and other preferred locations like ferry and boating piers.
Hong Kong Island * - Monday & Thursday 13:00 am - 20:00 pm                                               
Kowloon - Wednesday & Friday 14:00 am - 18:00 pm
New Territories ** - Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 13:00 am - 20:00 pm

** Ma Wan - Tuesday 13:00 am - 15:00 pm


Upon check-out you will be guided to our easy to read delivery calendar and be asked to choose a time slot for your location at your convenience. We offer you the option to place orders of up to 28 days in advance. Should your preferred delivery slot not be available anymore this means other customers have already reserved such dates. You may then simply page down the calendar and choose the next available delivery that is acceptable to you and continue your check-out. Should, in special cases, you wish to antedate your confirmed delivery date you may contact our customer service (Tel No. 34 828 929) and ask to assist in finding a solution to move your order to an earlier delivery date, wherever feasible.



Convenient Shopping                                                 

Two convenient ways to shop with Taste Matters. Use our online-store 24/7 or give us a phone call under 34 828 929 and place your order with our customer service representative. Our customer service is available Monday - Friday 10:00 am to 18:00 pm & Saturday 10:00 am to 15:00 pm. Please note, phone option for order placement exclusively applies to registered customers only.



Cut-Off Times                                                  

You can place orders with us 24 hours a day. Provided your delivery area is serviced today, orders for same day delivery can be placed until 11:00 am. Otherwise there are no cut-off hurdles. Please note, however, not all delivery areas, namely Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories  are serviced every day. 



Non Delivery Times
Taste Matters does not offer deliveries on saturdays, sundays and public holidays. Corresponding dates will be unavailable in our delivery calendar. We appreciate your regarded understanding. Should a typhoon signal no. 8 be hoisted or a black rain storm warning be issued scheduled deliveries will be unfortuantely delayed. In such an event Taste Matters will contact you and arrange an earliest possible new delivery date with you.



Minimum Order Amount & Delivery Fees                                                         

Our minimum order amount is HKD 500 and delivery is always free of charge! Deliveries to Discovery Bay, Tung Chung and Yat Tung are free of charge with a minimum order amount of HKD 1,000. For orders below this amount we ask our customers in Discovery Bay, Tung Chung and Yat Tung for a small delivery contribution of HKD 150.

We offer you all standard payment options. Upon check out, please chose a payment method that fits you best. Options are PayPal, Master and Visa credit cards, bank transfer upon order as well as cheque upon delivery.                                               

PayPal - please select payment method 'PayPal' during check out and follow the menu.                                                          

Credit Card - we offer you Visa and Master Card payment which kindly select as payment method during check out and follow the menu.

PayPal, Credit Card and bank transfer payment is due in full upon checkout. Payment by cheque is due in full upon delivery.
After completion of your check-out you will receive a confirmation email detailing your purchase and delivery time. With your actual delivery you will further receive a printed invoice and packing list for your easy reference. Please note that due to safety reasons we do not accept cash payments on delivery.



Phone Shopping                                               

For repeat customers, we offer the option to conveniently place an order with us via telephone. Simply call our customer service telephone no. 34 828 929 and speak to our staff. This service is available from Monday - Friday 10:00 am to 18:00 pm & Saturday 10:00 am to 15:00 pm Please note, that for telephone orders payment method is restricted to cheque on delivery and bank transfer upon order.

Confirmation of Your Order

Having completed your order and checkout, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your purchase and delivery time. Please keep this information and review your actual delivery against it. Should there be any discrepancy, please inform our delivery staff immediately or, give us notice within 24 hours by contacting our customer service by phone, please dial 34 828 929, or email to cs@tastematters.com.hk. We shall arrange earliest possible replacement or refund to you.



Amendment, Cancellation and Return of Order                                               

Should you require to amend or cancel an order, please contact our customer service no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery.

For returns please call our customer service or send an email to cs@tastematters.com.hk within 24 hours of your delivery and we shall arrange earliest possible replacement or refund to you.

Packaging                                                         

All our dry and regular storage prodcuts are carefully hand-packed in re-cycleable paper bags. We recommend to put them back into recycling or re-use them as fit. In light of eco-friendlyness our beverage packs and boxes may not be re-packed. We further offer to re-collect all empty beverage crates previously delivered to you. Perishable food is packed in re-usable cooler bags and transported in specialy insulated cooler boxes keeping them nice and chilled all the way to your fridge. Frozen product is packed in similar re-usable cooler bags and as well transported in specially insulated cooler boxes keeping them frozen. Should the delivery address be your office, we recommend to transfer chilled or frozen food to a fridge or freezer as soon as possible. Home or office, chilled or frozen, Taste Matters cooled supply chain guarantees your food product is always handled with utmost care and will arrive in the best possible condition and right temperature.

Net Weights                                                    

All of our products are delivered in its original manufacturer packing. Respective net weights are also shown in our product detail view. Some products, for example potatoes, individually packed fish and fresh meat carry a price with an approximate net weight indication. With such products, the actual shipping weight may slightly vary versus the indication in the product description. We rest assure, that during preparation of your order we always arrange to actually exceed the estimated weight shown in the product description. Should, however, there be a negative variance exceeding customary in trade we shall refund you the difference upon delivery.



Nobody home...?                                                             

If we are unable to hand over goods at the shipping address we will either return the goods to our premises or drop it off at the shipping address. In both cases we will contact you before and after and arrange a new delivery time with you, if needed. Goods returned to our warehouse will be handled and stored for you with adequate care. Please note, in some cases a new delivery attempt may incure an additional small delivery fee.



Guarantee                                                       

Taste Matters guarantees its entire range is of highest quality. Our products are carefully selected and individually checked upon arranging your order. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your delivery, please contact our customer service within 24 hours of receipt. Please dial 34 828 929 and we will arrange replacement or refund to you.
